Ingredients:  

 

2/3 lb. Onions
4 lb.
Potatoes
2 lb. Carrots
Milk
4 tbsp. butter or margarine1
Salt
Pepper

 

Letís Cook:

Scrub and mince carrots.  Peel, wash and slice onions and add them together with peeled and cut potatoes and carrots. Boil until done (approx. 30 minutes).  Mash all the vegetables and add butter or margarine and pepper and salt. If too thick, add some milk.  This dish is eaten as a main meal and the above amounts will serve four.  Suggested meat with this dish is pork chops (center cut) fried in very hot margarine, which will create wonderful brown gravy.  Enjoy!
